Create an enchanting decor piece by making a rainbow butterfly suncatcher mobile from upcycled clear plastic bottles, promoting sustainability and creativity.
Materials
- 4–6 clear plastic bottles
- Acrylic paint (rainbow colors)
- Paintbrushes (various sizes)
- Scissors
- String or fishing line
- Wire or a sturdy hanger
- Hole puncher
- Optional: glitter or embellishments for extra flair
Instructions
- Prepare the Bottles: Rinse and dry your bottles, then cut them into sections for the butterfly wings.
- Create Butterfly Wings: Design your wings using acrylic paint and allow to dry. Add glitter as desired.
- Assemble the Mobile: Make holes on the side of each wing, thread string through to attach them together.
- Attach to a Hanger: Use wire or a hanger to attach the butterflies, arranging them in different heights.
